Weave a picture with structure

3 1/2-hour workshop in the workshop Hand-power

In this workshop you will weave on a 20 x 30 cm picture loom. You use loose yarn from the workshop's many different types and colours of natural fibres and delicious wool. This type of weaving is easy to walk to, and something exciting quickly happens on the loom.

Your weaving will come to contain lots of structure — Fringes, loops, flat pieces, twists and more, depending on what you desire. I am ready to guide you with inspiration for building motifs and present techniques you can use along the way in your weaving. I am curious and playful in my approach and seek to promote the joy of creating.

Whether you are a beginner, or more practiced, you will be met at just your level. You can come alone or bring someone with whom you feel like sharing the experience. The atmosphere in the workshop is calm and gives room for contemplation and creativity.

What can you expect?

• The team is 4 - 8 participants.

• I have tools and materials ready for you.

• There is a self-catering table with water, coffee, tea and some snacks for you.

• You go home with a personal and unique woven image. It's ready to be hung on your wall or given to someone you care about as a very special gift.
